If you are moving to Dubai with family then Mirdif area could be a good option. You can find good old style villas with ultra modern set up in a medium budget. This area has a lot of good schools. So, as said before if you are moving with family and have children then you can make Mirdif and Al Garhoud your home.

Arabian Ranches, Dubai silicon Oasis, Victory Heights, Motor City

If you love to live in a quieter place then Arabian Ranches, Dubai silicon Oasis, Victory Heights, Motor City are worth seeing. This part of the town is new compared to other parts of Dubai; hence you can find all modern stuff with peace of mind. In these areas, you will find larger houses with garden with better value for money. Most the construction is villas, low-rise buildings, and townhouses. The only problem could be during storms. You should expect a lot of dust coming from the desert.

The Lakes, Greens, Springs & Meadows

If you want to spend your time close to nature in this desert city then you should look no further than The Meadows, The Lakes, The Springs and The Greens. Emaar is the developer of the above areas and all of them are in close proximity of Emirates Golf Course (A Green Oasis in middle of the desert). Rents in these areas are higher considering most of the area is covered in a townhouse or independent villas. You can also enjoy common parks, pool, and basketball courts. If you have a pet then they can also enjoy here as this community has pet areas as well.

Palm Jumeirah

Palm Jumeirah, Nakheel’s (one of Dubai’s Top Real Estate company) flagship project. The spectacular man-made islands that make up Palm Jumeirah extend city life out into the aquamarine waters of the Arabian Gulf. The island is in the shape of a palm tree that goes into the Gulf of Arabia. The Palm Jumeirah rents are high due to the type of properties like low-rise apartment blocks and high-end villas. You can enjoy on your private beach on the palm. If you want to call it your home then make sure you are ready to pay a heavy rent.

Dubai Marina

If you want to live in high-rise apartments with a good view then Dubai Marina could be on your list. Dubai Marina is next to JBR (Technically one road back from JBR) has lots of high-rise residential building apartments and serviced apartments (serviced hotels as we call them) for you to choose. Some of the building not only gives a great view of the sea but you can enjoy the views of the Palm as well. Price could vary based on the location within Dubai Marina. However, there is plenty of options for you to choose.

Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR)

JBR has a floor area of 2 square kilometers, with a 1.7 km length. This area is fully developed with high-rise buildings with amazing Persian Gulf view. The towers are built over an oceanfront promenade called “The Walk” which is lined with retail outlets, restaurants, cafés and hotels. If you are a fun loving person then JBR is the best place for you. You can enjoy something or the other. However, the rents in this area are high compared to other parts of Dubai.
