Dubai Winter Festival is here! This year being its 6th year, the anticipations for this annual Dubai festival have already built up. The largest year-end celebration starts from December 6 and wraps up on December 9 at Dubai Media City Amphitheater.

There are many exciting things to do in the fest – from shopping and snowball fighting to music and entertainment. So get your festive mood on for Christmas and have a great time with your family and friends.

Festive Pub Quiz

All the adults, you should not miss the festive pub quiz this winter festival. Even more interesting fact is that the quiz is being hosted by Dubai 92, one of the favorite radio station of Dubai. The event will take place on the newly opened Party Ground. You will get to win some of the coolest prizes as well. You can also bring your companions along as there are buy 1 get 1 ticket offers going on.

Pub Quiz is slated to take place on December 6th, 7.30pm at The Dubai Winter Festival Party Garden.

Search For a Star

Search for a star is an event dedicated to discovering the upcoming talented kids. The event, in partnership with the Dubai Performing Arts Academy, will hunt for the best actor, singer, dancer, or performer. Kids upto 18 years of age will be able to participate in the contest and showcase their skills. So if you are proud parents of such talented bunch of kids, mark the date for this event.

Search For a Star will be held between 4pm to 6pm on December 6th.

Pantomime

Pantomime is the ultimate fun for the entire family. As Christmas is around the corner, so is Santa! Pantomime will be a fun filled game through which Santa will search a new apprentice for himself. There will be lots of music and dance to add to the fun.

The event will take place thrice during the festival on – December 7 at 3.30pm, December 8 and 9 at 2pm.

The Cheese Corner

Pay attention all cheese lovers. Winter festival has got a special addition this year especially for you in the form of The Cheese Corner. Headed by the French cheese-monger Francois Robin, event will include workshops and demo sessions. You will get to attend classes such as making the perfect Cheese Board, Cheese Pairing for Christmas and traditional cheese recipes.

Haribo Snow Play Zone

Let your kids enjoy in snow in the festive season. Whether it is making your own snow angels or indulging in a snow fight with friends; children will be able to do all of it at Haribo Snow Play Zone. The best thing is that there are no entry fees.

Giant Christmas Tree

Light up the winter festival along with your friends and family. You will be able to witness the lighting ceremony of a giant Christmas tree that will make the night skyline of Dubai even more brighter.

The event will take place daily at 6pm.

Winter Market

A holiday festival season can’t be complete without shopping. You will be able to shop for Christmas from Winter Market – the largest festive market of UAE. From jewelry and home decor items to toys and artifacts – there will be many more such presents that you can buy for your family and pals.
