10th edition of IPL starts today from Hyderabad. 1st match to be played between Hyderabad & Bangalore.

New addition to this IPL is opening ceremonies. What’s so new about it? This year IPL will be hosting 8 opening ceremonies on each of Home Ground Venue.

Yesterday all 8 captains met and signed a pledge allegiance to MCC’s Sprit of cricket to play fair in this IPL 2017 season. Well only time can tell who will lead the fair play scorecard.

All 8 Captains joined by Rajeev Shukla Chairman of IPL via teleconference call to address and discuss certain issues. They also discussed every aspect of the 47 days mega tournament of Cricket.

All skippers came to center stage to sign on the bat for MCC’s Sprit of Cricket. Then they indulged into a photo session. Some of the skippers used mobile phones to take selfie with rest of the captains.

On another hand we can expect some of the best of the best commentators to lend voice this IPL.

The list starts with homegrown IPL veteran Sanjay Manjrekar. Michael Clarke, he just adjusted with Indian style in recently finished Broder-Gavaskar series. Some of the other interesting names are Ravi Shastri, Scott Styris, Sunil Gavaskar, Kevin Pietersen, Brett Lee, Micheal Clarke etc.

So, it’s going to be very exciting IPL both on the ground and in the commentary box. Let’s Play
