Cityscape Global – Dubai 2017
Cityscape Global is an annual platform to exhibit leading developments and investments in the international real estate market. Currently, in its 16th year, the exhibition will be held at Dubai World Trade Centre starting September 11th and it will continue until September 13th, alongside a conference which will be held at The Conrad Dubai on September 10th prior to the main event.
Cityscape Global Exhibition lineup
Cityscape Global holds an annual real estate exhibit in Dubai as a means to encourage the progress of the real estate market, property investors and new developments based in UAE. The exhibit is hailed as the “annual barometer” in terms of measuring the growth of the country’s real estate industry and to analyse the trends in the industry. The event serves a global audience to bring UAE’s commercial development to the foreground and to also attract investors.
The main event will span three days from 11th of September, Monday to 13th of September, Wednesday. The venue for the exhibition is the Dubai World Trade Centre. This year’s edition of Cityscape Global will feature over 30 industry expert speakers and around 300 exhibitors will display their projects.
The current edition is organised under the theme “Reshaping the Industry” and for the first time ever the investors attending the event will be able to buy properties at the event itself, as per the guidelines set by the organising committee.
Some exhibitors worth checking out
With around 300 stands to look at, it’s going to be too hard to look at everything for many attendees and investors. Below is a list of few exhibits that you must check out without fail during the 3-day event.
- Al Marjan Island
- Binghatti Developers
- Dubai Holding
- Expo Dubai 2020
- JLL
- Majid Al Futtaim Properties LLC
- Nakheel
- Webb Yates & Esther Engineers
Cityscape conference
The conference cum forum is supposed to be held at The Conrad Dubai on the 10th of September. The event is by invite only. The forum will focus on sustainability, innovations, architecture, brokers, and some recent case studies.
The event also intends to highlight subjects like Dubai’s Blockchain strategy and the regional commercialization of developing, designing, and implementing new facilities in healthcare projects. The forum will be split into sessions – a single morning session to discuss the market overview and two sessions in the afternoon to analyse Real Estate Brokers and Architecture.
Keynote speakers
Some speakers who will be sharing their industry insight at the forum include the CEO of Real Estate Regulatory Agency, Dubai Land Department, H.E Marwan Bin Ghalita, the CEO of Smart Dubai H.E Wesam Al Abbas Lootah and VP-Director of Master Planning and Architecture at Parson John Achari.
The overall takeaway
With about 1,100 expected to attend the event, there so much to take home from the exhibit and the conference. Both the exhibition and the full-day forum should help attendees gain deeper insight into the property sectors – from materials and innovations to the demography and architectural trends – everything is up for discussion. Industry newbies will find the event excellent in order to develop their skills with the forum session, as well as, by attending the speaker’s keynote discussions and panels.
